Michael Prilla is a research assistant and PhD student at Information and Technology Management at the Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany. His main interests include CSCW related research in general and the interplay of process models and cooperative systems in particular. Other interests include phenomena of web 2.0 and collaborative tagging, knowledge management and the transition from personal to group information management. In his PhD thesis, he is working on the intertwining of knowledge management and process models with respect to creating, maintaining and using process models as well as equal handling of complex content types in cooperative systems. This work is also concerned with fostering creative ideas and innovative forms of processes. He uses an approach of collaborative bottom-up tagging for this.
