Tobias Höllerer is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he directs the "Four Eyes Laboratory", conducting research in the four "I"s of Imaging, Interaction, and Innovative Interfaces. A computer science graduate from the Technical University of Berlin, Höllerer did his Ph.D. work on Mobile Augmented Reality Systems at Columbia University. Prof. Höllerer co-organized several conferences and workshops on augmented and virtual reality, including the 2006 IEEE and ACM International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality. He is co-author of over 50 international conference and journal papers in the research areas of augmented and virtual reality, 3D displays and interaction, visualization, mobile and wearable computing, and adaptive user interfaces.
