Position Paper: Revealing the Long Tail in Office Conversations

Short Bio


I'm a researcher in the Social Computing Lab in HP Labs. My research interests are in how collaborative tools can influence and motivate positive participation in online communities, and the role of social vs. semi-automated filtering in directing users' attention.

In my spare time I also enjoy a form of collocated one-on-one collaboration: social dance.
