Google Sketchup: When I downloaded and installed Google sketchup, I really expected to see a simple, basic and limited 3D drawing program. But I was really surprised; the program was simple but very powerful. Very quickly I was able to create very complicated 3sD shapes. I tried/played with several 3D drawing programs before such as AutoCAD, FormZ and 3D Max, which are commercial expensive softwares, and I can say that Google Sketchup is very close to them. The thing I liked most about the program is that it is very intuitive and easy to use. The available materials were diverse which allow for creating professional models. The scenes and animation is another feature that can be easily used to present the 3D models in a professional way. Last modified 4 November 2007 at 9:31 pm by mohammad |
