Personal History: Age 0 to 18: Grew up in Acton, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. Age 18 to 22: Studied Computer Science at Middlebury College in Vermont. Began speed-solving Rubik's Cube. Age 22 to 24: Lived and worked in San Francisco, California. Age 24 to 28: Taught Discrete Math at Enka High School near Asheville, North Carolina. Age 28 to present: Enrolled in the Computer Science Ph.D. program at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Mike Mozer is my advisor.
