1. what are aspects of the course so far that are positive and should be sustained?
I like class discussion when everyone is inovlved and you can hear what other people have to say about articles, lectures, etc. and you can learn from their insights. Practical sessions are also a fun and intersting way to work hands on with what we are learning about.

2. what do you think about the following parts of the course?

2.1. Lectures
Lectures are okay, not my favorite, but they apply to what we are learning or discussing at the time.
2.2. Guest Lectures
Guest lectures are fun and interesting. A good way to mix up the normal routine of lectures.

2.3. "practical sessions" (EDC, PitaBoard, Role Playing)
Practical sessions are fun and a good way to actively involve everyone. I think it seems like everyone enjoys them as well.

2.4. small assignments
Small assignments are a good way to enforce the reading and get feedback from everyone.

2.5. efforts of getting course participants involved in the course
I think efforts of involving everyone are definitley made, but it is up to the individuals if they participate or not.

2.6. use of the Swiki in the course
I like the swiki a lot. I think it makes assignments more convenient and it helps if you want to see what the other students are thinking.

2.7. peer-to-peer learning (e.g., to which extent did it happen in your case)
I like this group project. Even though we haven't gotten too far into it, I think I am going to learn a lot from my group.

2.8. independent research activities
So far not my favorite thing, but I think when we actually make our presentations I will see that this is a good thing and is helpful and interesting.

2.9. course projects
So far, the course projects are fair and seem fun and interesting.

3. which improvements would you like to see for the course?
I would like to see the assignments for Monday and Wednesday up on the swiki earlier in the week. Because of work and other class requirements, it is sometimes hard for me to have Wednedsay's assignment ready on time because it is assigned on Monday after class.
I would like to be able to have both assignments done by Sunday.

4. self-assessment – please let us know how well YOU think you have done in the course Think about this in terms of your performances in:

4.1. please give an honest answer about how much time and effort you have put into your work so far (work hard <--> last-minute effort <--> minimum effort to get by)

4.2. participation (including class participation; attendance, ...);
Work hard. I try to always involve myself when it is possible.

4.3. small assignments,
Work hard, sometimes last minute effort depending upon my work and class schedule.

4.4. your effort thus far in the independent research activities
So far minimum effort. I wasn't sure what was required, but after our class discussion I will work hard on this assignment.

4.5. your effort thus far in your project
Work hard. I have met with my group numerous times and I am excited for when we can present this to the class

5. What do you hope to learn from this course?
I wasn't sure what to expect. It is completely different than what I thought it would be, but I hope to learn how design & collaboration has effected and made a significant impact on our world thus far, and how it is changing and improving so many things.

5.1. originally before the course started?
I thought I would be learning computer programs.

5.2. now (close to the end of February?)
I hope to learn how collaborations, design and learning has effected everyone in the class through the independent and group projects.

6. anything else you would like us to know?
Good job! I've enjoyed the class so far.
