I'm interested in the "Collaboration" (in general) because it is an important part of working environments. I feel that the majority of students whom are graduating from a college or university don’t have a good grasp on the concept of collaboration. In general, an educational institution pursues and teaches independent studies and work alone policies. It is very difficult to find classes that are interested in, or that even encourages, a group project or a work together environment. In my experience, individuals that enter the workforce directly from the school environment have a difficult time adjusting to the idea of contribution or of working only a small piece of a big project. I believe that if the educational institutions encourage these types of activities, students will be better prepared and will be more productive in their working and learning.
