Brock LaMeres:

I am interested in a design-oriented research project. Specifically I'm interested in the cross-functional contributions that go into design. This can be customer-feedback, market research, manufacturing, etc. I like the description of the "Things that make us Smart" book on amazon. I also like the "The Design of Everyday Things" (both by Norman) book but it may not be technicaly oriented enough for this class. In either instance, they both fit my interests. In my career, I see a lot of design that occurs which doesn't focus on anything other than the technical specs. Useability is often an afterthought.

So if anyone has similar interests, let me know and we can work together.

Thanks
