Initial Idea Proposal - Independent Research

I read the descriptions of the books on amazon.com, but I only found one of them engaging enough to study further...

"Bennis & Biederman's (1997) Organizing Genius: The Secrets of Creative Collaboration"

I would like to learn more about the collaboration aspect that is flourishing in this new age of technology. Working with others is a skill that everyone needs to master, and I would benefit greatly by improving my current capabilities. My second choice would be to study and research design because today with all of the avenues for media expression, the design is key to making the idea stick. Design and Collaboration are all about learning, and there is so much to learn. (I guess in that case, I would be willing to study any of the three topics and how they pertain to current situations in our society.)
