1) What did you find interesting about the article?
All the statistics and research concerning home employment was interesting to me. It ineterests me, not only to see what the researchs are predicting and what is actually happening, but also because I work from home for the most part.
2) What did you find not interesting about the article?
Nothing imparticular
3) What do you consider the main message of the article?
I think the main point or main message of the article is to discuss how technology is impacting "working from home".
4) Think of a couple of persons (maybe family members or friends) who are in a position to use computer by being "home alone"! Characterize the major problems that these persons have!
I personally am in a position to use my computer by being "home alone". I work from home almost 100 percent of the time. We have a small office where there are computers, a library, and some people. And we have bi-weekly meetings. The biggest challenges I run into working from home is the lack of community and mentoring that exists in my job. As a programmer, I think that mentoring and collaborative work is very improtant, so this aspect is difficult for me.
5)Describe briefly some new innovative technologies that you can think of which would address these problems!
More than anything this a problem with the structure of the company and I am not sure that Technology can solve everything, especially when it comes to home offices.
