- What is your favorite web-based collaborative technology (provide a URL)?
My favorite web based technology is Blackboard Software Suite.
- What makes it stand apart from the others you know about?
This suite is quite similar to Swiki in its goals to integrate learning with the WWW technoogy. Blackboard has three software web programs: Bb Learning, Bb Transaction, and Bb Community Portal. These bring teaching and learning online with their easy to use course management software. This technology serves to integrate academics, communities, and administrative services online through one customizable portal.
