common questions/problems for CreativeIT students

1. Digital artists are often on the cutting-edge in terms of using technology. How can their knowledge better be used by CS?
2. Is CS in itself a creative discipline? Should it be?
3. Why are CS departments soooo conservative and un-"creative" (meaning focussing solely on technical matters)? How can this be changed?
4. Stereotypes: Has there been interesting research in CS that has been applied by other sciences/fields? Or is CS really the discipline that just sitting in its dark room, working with computers, not with the world around it.
