Priyamvada (Pia) Tripathi

Brief Bio:

Priyamvada (Pia) Tripathi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University. She is currently working on research in creativity with her advisor Dr. Winslow Burleson. Her dissertation focuses on the relationship between affect and creativity in IT organizations. As part of her dissertation, Pia aims to conduct empirical studies that combine computational tools and social science methodologies and provide insights into mechanisms and models of individual and organizational creativity. Priyamvada received her Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc.) in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, India in 2001 and her Bachelors of Sciences (B.S.) in Computer Science at Arizona State University (ASU) in 2003. In previous projects, she worked on multimodal interfaces involving vision and haptics.
